Training and Development
AS AN ACCREDITED 'INVESTOR IN PEOPLE' EMPLOYER, CONCORDIA INTERNATIONAL IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING ITS EMPLOYEES WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP AND ACHIEVE THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL.
Concordia International is built on the principle that everyone's contribution counts and by working collaboratively, business success can be achieved. Consistent with this belief, the training and development needs of all employees are assessed on a regular basis and as part of our performance review process, to ensure everyone is equipped with the necessary skills to achieve their own and the company's maximum potential. This is one of the reasons why we have been accredited to Gold Standard by Investors In People.
This includes non-technical (soft skills) training, technical skills training appropriate to individual positions as well as pharmaceutical industry-specific training programmes on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GPvP). In addition, all staff have attended training on anti-bribery and corruption compliance. The total induction and training time for new employees is in excess of 40 hours.
We are an accredited Investor in People and have also established ourselves as an Institute of Leadership Management (ILM) Development Centre which enables our employees to work towards accredited professional and industry standard qualifications. We believe this fits well with the commitment of the business to train and develop employees at all levels and to promote a true meritocracy. In doing so, we aim to provide fulfilling, rewarding working opportunities and enriching careers.
